Stay-And-Train Experiences Help Dogs Feel Calm, Confident, and Reliable in Everyday Life.

Dog Training & Pet Care in Little Rock, AR

When dogs struggle at home, it’s rarely about a lack of love or effort. Many pet parents feel overwhelmed when their dog’s behavior is unpredictable, stressful, or challenging to manage, especially when maintaining consistency is hard in a busy household. These challenges often signal that a dog needs more structure, clarity, and repetition than home life can easily provide.

Crown Residence at Koning Canine Academy offers a four-week live-in training experience designed to support dogs in a calm, structured environment where learning can fully settle in. Each dog stays is designed around our core curriculum that considers behavior patterns, emotional needs, and family goals. This allows training to feel intentional, supportive, and relevant to real life, not just successful in a training setting.

How This Program Works

Crown Residence is a 4-week immersive Stay & Train program designed to develop clearer communication, stronger engagement, reliable manners, and practical skills that carry into everyday life.

Before enrollment, each dog begins with an evaluation so we can better understand your goals, your dog’s individual needs, and determine whether Crown Residence is the right fit. Once enrolled, your dog stays with us at Koning Canine Academy, where training becomes part of their daily routine, not simply a series of isolated training sessions.
Throughout their stay, we focus on the skills and behaviors most relevant to your dog and your family while progressively introducing real-world distractions, environments, and expectations. You’ll receive photos and video updates along the way so you can follow your dog’s progress throughout the program. But training doesn’t end when your dog goes home.

At the completion of the residency, you’ll receive a comprehensive transfer lesson where we walk you through your dog’s training, communication system, learned skills, and exactly how to maintain those results at home. You’ll also receive a practical home routine designed to help make training part of everyday life.

Your program also includes ongoing follow-up opportunities throughout the month that allow you to practice your handling and follow-through, ask questions, and continue building on the foundation established during your dog’s stay.
